We have a conversation.
Initially, we get to know each other and clarify the project scope, including our potential involvement. This typically involves a short email exchange or call. To support our proposal, we may ask for additional documentation from you.
We provide you with a proposal or a quote.
After we have a clear understanding of your requirements, we'll provide you with a project budget and timeline estimate for your review.
You approve our submission and we collect a deposit.
Before starting any work, a deposit may be invoiced, based on a portion of the estimated project cost to secure both parties' investment in the project's success. We’ll continue to bill additional instalments at key project milestones, untill completion.
We begin the project with the discovery phase.
In the discovery phase, we kick things off by further clarifying project goals and requirements in dialogue with you. The process can vary for each client, but typically involves dedicating an hour or so to discuss your project in detail. You speak, we listen, and both parties arrive at a mutual understanding of what needs to be accomplished.
After forming a clear brief and understanding of the project with you, we begin deep work. Depending on the project, this might mean developing wayfinding + strategy, or proceeding directly to signage design concepts. As we start work, we may exchange emails to gather additional insights + information... or it may not be necessary. This often depends on the specific project and client.
We’ll deliver our initial concepts for feedback and development.
Once we our initial work is complete, we meet to review and discuss the preliminary outcomes, and address any questions we have uncovered during our deeper exploration of the project details. At this stage of the project we prefer to present the current package in person or via video call; sharing progress, speaking through strategic assessment & design decisions, and listening to your initial feedback. After thorough discussion, we'll establish consensus on the outcomes discussed, and the path forward.
We’ll make revisions.
We'll continue to develop and revise the package from our Cremorne studio, incorporating any insights or discoveries from our previous discussion until completion. Depending on the scope of the project, providing updated documentation might mean a simple email with some updated PDF's, or multiple in-person meetings to discuss and review various decisions and changes within.
Finished artwork is prepared.
We carefully create and refine finished artwork for each sign instance, ready for use by the sign maker during fabrication. Our proficiency in typography ensures sign content is realised to an exceptional standard.
Signs are fabricated and installed.
With all documentation and artwork now finalised and approved, your signs are ready for the production line. Depending on the project's scope, we'll either deliver the finalised package to you ready for tendering, or coordinate fabrication & installation with one of our partners on your behalf. In either case, we remain available to assist and ensure the best possible outcome throughout the process.
For projects with a lot of moving parts, we assess all installed signage to ensure it conforms to the specifications of the signage package. Typically, the outcome of this assessment will involve a post-completion report of our findings for review, noting any necessary actions required to correct observed issues, or possible opportunities for improvement.
